Shadow, quiiiet!
Hm...very good, Sonic God!
Was the sentence to hard for you so that it took you some time, you mean?
I have relatives in Canada who escaped to this country in the...first, or second...world war. And my grandfather has escaped from Hungary to Austria.
So...you know German really well?
Your realtives have been all German people until they began to settle in other countries? Wow...so seen you're half a German.
My whole family is Austrian except my grandfather...oh yeah...
The sentence I had to break down word for word. Most words I knew, but other's I've needed assistance with my Oxford English-German dictionary here (Und es ist eine Deutsch-Englisch Woerterbuch).
Back during the World Wars, my great-great grandparents absolutely forbid teaching their children German, in fear of what the community would do to their kids if they spoke German. Racism reigned supreme, so any German-speaking individual in the US would be seen as a Nazi, and must be taken down. Our country is not as great as it seems.
My German knowledge is limited, but I understand it to a certain extent. I can construct small, but simple statements. My grammar still needs a lot of work, including assistance in Nominative, Dative, Genitive, and Accusative cases. The way German statements are formed confuses me in the way words are also used redundantly. This may be perfectly acceptable in German, but in English, it's seen as faux-pas.

BTW - The Sonic God - this "pride-lands.org" do you find it "easy to navigate a.k.a user-friendly"? Just a question.
Both sites mentioned are easy to navigate.
