Maybe the sliver of Polock in me (Kuklok's on my mother's side of the family) helps me deal with the cold weather. ^^

BTW, please refrain from typing in all capital letters that does not constitute for abbreviations or acronyms. That is considered shouting.

Es tut mir leid, Mieko, aber ich denke dass Englisch soll sein sprechen mit perfekt qualität, wie Deutsch, wie, Sie weiß dass mein Deutsch mehr arbeit zu brauchen. X_X
Sorry, Mieko, but I think that English should be spoken with perfect quality, like German, however, you know that my German needs more work.

And English uses the German word "Kindergarten," too. :)

Simplification: BTW, please refrain from typing in all capital letters that does not constitute for abbreviations or acronyms. That is considered shouting.

Refrain: To prevent oneself, to hinder, to control.
Constitute: To cause effect to, to make part of a literary proclamation.
Abbreviation: A series of words substituted with single letters or shortened words. "e. g., abbr, Mpls., etc."
Acronym: A series of words replaced with letters. TTYL, WYSIWYG, TLK, etc.
Considered: Of what is understood.
Shouting: The act of increasing the volume in one's voice. To become louder more aggresively.

Make sense?

Good point.

"Lindsey" is a girls name, whilst "Lindsay" is a guy's name. However, they're said in the same way.

As for cold weather, we had a small cold snap in Minnesota, but it quickly ended. And now its 2°C. Yay!

Sonic Fox, in English "Angst", "Edelweiß", "Lederhosen" and "Kindergarten" are used from German. And in German there are one thousand words more used from English, I bet...

Baby, Volleyball, Computer, and so on...in German there are many words used from English, some so that we have forgotten that they're English. In German "baby" is "baby". No real other word...

Hm...we have actually -13,3 C°, brrrr...and "that" is really a deep temperature, very cold for Austria. In the last days we never reached the -15C°, this is really rarely found in Austria. So: Urgh! Cold!

Angst was just a word we used for "anxiety," which is exactly what it means. "Edelweiß," or "Edelweiss," is a name for a flower, its name meaning "Pure white." "Lederhosen" is the name for that popular German garment. I want to try one of those on one of these days. "Kindergarten," as said, is "Children's Garden."

There are "universal" words seen in hundreds of languages that I don't consider English. For instance, "Taxi" is spelled and pronounced the same way in virtually all European languages. ;)

And today, as luck would have it, is much warmer than normal. But we usually pay for it in February. X_X

Und ich bin ein Löwe, nicht ein Fuchs. ;)

ow, sorry, i meant the polish names. Every name taken from foreign languages - girls name - to be girls it ends with "a", as "Natalia" "Monika" "Maria" - it is Merry for example. And the boys names never ends with "a" - it would be a girl name then :)

About baby and computer, as I found out German and English are from the same group of Romanian languages so it must be simmilar!

we had in Poland -10 today. The heat comes! ;)
