What about a new, different TLK?

What about if Disney create another The Lion King movie which has no connection to the previous TLK series. It would be named The Lion King 4 but the old animation styles and scripts will be no more?
What will be your outlook for a movie which calls itself a TLK but has nothing to do with the previous series but the lions?
Do you think a new masterpiece could be created having no connection to the old one?

I do not mean to sound rude or offencive, but in America, where the movie was created, there is no TLK3. So, they would most likely make a TLK3 before a 4 was ever though of. However, I personally doubt the issue of another TLK will ever come into question.

Definitely not with Eisner. But he'll help to bring Disney to ruin, so maybe some company will draw another TLK.

You never know where another masterpiece will appear, so the chances that another movie staring lions will be one the same as will be another. But... I wouldn't count on that. Maybe some interesting and pleasing movie, but not masterpiece. Er... for me, at least. I think.

Well, there is/was a TV show about the white lions who worked with Sigfried and Roy in Las Vegas, Nevada in America.

The Lion King 3 in the United States is called "The Lion King 1 1/2"

It's the same movie. And it's really, really, dull.

It's also cancelled. Apparently the money-grubbers at Dreamworks demand hundreds of thousands of dollars per episode. X_X

But you have to remember, this is (as far as I've heard) the first computer animated television show. All computer animated movies are never really longer then about 90 minutes. Those 90 minutes alone are millions. Imagine making 13x20 minutes of footage. That's 260 minutes if I'm not mistaken. That's about equal to 3 full computer animated movies. No wonder it costs so much.

I'm really not understanding why it costs so much. The software they use can save sprites and imagry details to be reused on latter episodes.

I think that Dreamworks was just too demanding for money. And apparently six million viewers wasn't enough.
